Welcome to Chipstead Bowling Club website.

Chipstead Bowling Club is a popular Bowling club situated just off the A23 in the picturesque village of Chipstead which is on the borders of Surrey, close to Coulsdon. Located on High Road the entrance to the club is via the car park at the edge of the Meads near Elmore pond.

In 2009, Chipstead Bowling Club will again be a force to be reckoned with, with our club membership and recruitment drive well under way, we will certainly be one of the teams to beat!

It's time to hang out the bunting as we acknowledge and congratulate Dave Bottings achievement in making it through to the County quarter finals of the Unbadged singles thus winning his Surrey badge. Well done Dave.

Unfortunately Dave Pearce fell at the final hurdle last Wednesday but the good news is that he has a second chance of his badge next Tuesday when, along with Dickie Day and Dave Hall, he plays in the quarter finals of the Triples. Good luck lads.

Next week is a very busy one for all at the Club. After writing this note I will be going up to the Club to play in our Invitation All Day Fours competition on probably the hottest day of the year so far. A big day for the Club and one of our major fund raisers so I would like to acknowledge and thank all the Club members and friends working away to ensure that this day will be its usual success.

As well as the County triples quarter final,Tuesday sees the Club travelling to Bletchingly for the first round of the ESL Top 10 competition and Thursday sees the next round of the Past Times competition with 1 rink at home and 1 away against Ashtead.

To round of the week we meet our old rivals, Old Coulsdon, in our ESL local derby on Saturday afternoon and our esrtwhile co tourists Buxted on Sunday afternoon.
