Welcome to Chipstead Bowling Club
Chipstead Bowling Club is a lawn bowling club for both Ladies and Men, established in 1910. Our six-rink green is currently one of the best in the area, and our clubhouse and bar offers a friendly welcome and excellent facilities for our bowling and social members, visiting bowlers, spectators and guests. The Club is situated just off the A23 in the picturesque village of Chipstead which is on the borders of Surrey, close to Coulsdon.
Chipstead known as "The Friendly Club" a title which is well deserved, so if you’d like to come along to the Club and have a look, please feel free to do so. You will find the club in use most evenings and weekends. We have plenty of seating around the green for spectators, and what could be more relaxing on a warm summer’s afternoon than watching a game of bowls.
If you would like to become a member, just pick up a membership application from the Club, or have a word with a Club member for advice on how to apply. For new bowlers, we have qualified coaches who can help you get started, and you’ll always find other bowlers prepared to offer guidance and encouragement.
Visitors whether local or from a far, as well as new bowlers are very welcome, so come and visit us today

The New Season is almost here and we hope the sun will shine throughout. Welcome to the 2012 season. The fixtures are set and displayed on this site. We will update the results on a regular basis so as you can see the successes of the Club. There are over 70 fixtures confirmed which will allow every member the chance to join in and hopefully improve their game. The social calendar has started well with a great evening at the Races and a Cockney Night in March. The next event will be St' George's Day dinner on Saturday 21st April ( ok we are a couple of days early). Details are displayed in the clubhouse. June will bring a Jubilee day and we hope for a Jazz evening in June or July. In July The Meads will be full for the Chipstead Olympics. The Bowls Club will be offering a chance to join in with Fun games and prizes. Watch the notice Boards.
To all new visitors to the site please call by and have a chat. We are having an open day on 10th June and welcome you to give the club and bowls a try. Thats it for now. Regards
